Underwater Explorer lies in the heart of Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique. The accommodation is situated right on the beach. The beauty, view, accessibility and warm family environment caters for divers and friends, alike.

Accommodation at Underwater Explorer

We have basic reed casitas and 2 luxury en-suite beach facing rooms. Our Dive Camp can host up to 40 guests so bring your whole Family, Dive Club or Dive School.

Ocean view rooms have en-suite bathrooms with other rooms sharing communal ablutions.

En-Suite Rooms

Enjoy your own chalet, a step away from the beach. Our luxury rooms can sleep 2 adults and 2 children, and have their own en- suite bathroom. Bedding, Pillows, sheets, duvet and Mosquito nets are provided.

All rooms are serviced on a daily basis and guest can cook breakfasts, lunches or dinners using the communal kitchen on the property - meet other guests staying on the property or have a braai/bbq at the boma located centrally on the property.

Beach Casitas

The basic reed rooms can sleep between 2 and 4 people. Bedding, Pillows, sheets, duvet and Mosquito nets are provided.

Communal tiled, bathrooms with showers and a communal kitchen complete your rustic stay at Underwater Explorers. Simply a few steps away from the beach.

Our beach casitas can offer queen, twin or family setups, we provide all linen, fans and mosquito nets, just bring your own towels and special pillows if required.

These rooms share communal bathrooms.

Diving with Underwater Explorer

Underwater Explorer also offer scuba diving for the enthusiastic scuba-diver and divers can dive the very famous doodle reef with plenty of beautiful ocean creatures like our resident honeycomb moray eels to round ribbontail rays to the Pinnacle reef for shark sightings including hammer-heads, bull-sharks and tiger sharks.

Join us for an underwater adventure, from shallow reefs for Open water, to deeper shark dives for the more advanced diver... a little something for everyone.
